Surgical 3D was founded in 2023 by Amy York. Amy’s background was in medical device manufacturing in the U.K for Depuy Synthesis and more recently, Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) She found this niche application of 3D printing after meeting with a local vet who was designing and printing his own surgical guides, the rest is history.
