What are bone models?

Our bone models (or biomedical models) are 3D printed replicas of the patient’s anatomy. They are printed directly from exported DICOM scan data, producing a scale model of the area of interest.

What are they for?

Bio models are used for surgical rehearsal and implant preparation, such as sizing and profiling to the patient’s anatomy. Bio models also make great training aids and tools for visual demonstrations to customers.

Benefits

Planning…the ability to rehearse the procedure prior to to surgery minimises the risk of unexpected complications and can reduce the time in theatre.

Materials

Our bio models are printed from dental model polymers, they have high accuracy and strength. Please contact us to request the technical datasheet.
